mCareWatch is an approved and authorised NDIS provider and supplier of low risk, low cost Assistive Technology for the NDIS/NDIA. If you are a person with disability and you meet the access requirements you can become a participant in the scheme.
mCareWatch can help you to find the best product and identify the most suitable Assistive Technologies to meet your needs, supply the most fitting low-risk, low-cost, Assistive Technology, based on your requirements, and explain how you can access them using the funding in your plan.
As a participant, you will be able to access the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) community linkages and individualised planning processes to identify the reasonable and necessary supports you need to enable you to achieve your goals.
We can provide supports in the following classes:
- Assistive products for personal care and safety
- Assistive products for household tasks and
- Personal Mobility Equipment

NDIS provides funding to people who have a permanent and significant disability.
What is the NDIS and am I eligible?
What is the NDIS?
There are around 4.3 million Australians who have a disability. When it is fully rolled out, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) will provide about 460,000 Australians aged under 65, who have permanent and significant disability with funding for supports and services. For many people, it will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.
The NDIS can provide all people with disability with information and connections to services in their communities such as doctors, sporting clubs, support groups, libraries and schools, as well as information about what support is provided by each state and territory government. How do I get approved?
If you visit the am I eligible page, you will find an NDIS checklist you can read to see if you are eligible.
If you meet the criteria and you would like to become a participant, call NDIS on 1800 800 110 and ask to make an Access Request.
If you are already receiving disability support services, the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) will contact you when it becomes available in your area.
Please remember, if you do not receive any disability supports, make sure the NDIS is available in your area before you call to make an Access Request.

To get ready for your planning meeting, think about your immediate support needs and your current and future goals. A comprehensive list of agencies and organisations that could assist you with the process could also be found on the NDIS websit. Follow this link for further information.

STEP 1:
Request a Quote
Click on ‘Request a Quote’, add the required details and a quote will be emailed to you within 24 hours.

STEP 2:
Accept a Quote
Once you have received your quote and it meets your requirements, you can accept our quote by emailing us back confirming you would like to proceed.

STEP 3:
Invoice and Agreement Form
When the quote has been approved, an invoice and a Client Agreement form will be sent to you. The Client Agreement form has all of the information we need to pre-set the device ready for delivery. This form will need to be completed and returned to our Customer Care team.

STEP 4:
Payment
There are 3 ways to claim a product purchase funded by NDIS: Customer Care team.
1. SELF MANAGED
If you are using self managed NDIS budgets, you will need to purchase the item from mCareWatch and pay us for the item, then claim the funds back from NDIS through the MyPlace Portal.
2. NDIS AGENCY MANAGED
If you are using NDIS managed budgets, you will need to get your Local Area Coordinator, Planner, or Support Coordinator to ensure the purchase amount is included in your plan.
We will need to know the ‘support budget or budget category’ they have approved the funds in and the ‘budget line item number’ they have allocated the funds to. Sometimes there is a $1,000 Assistive Technology budget, or we can claim from Consumables for low risk low cost AT. If you have this we can generally claim directly from that portion.
3. THIRD PARTY PLAN MANAGED
If you are managed by a third party plan manager, then we can invoice the plan manager, and then they claim from NDIS.

STEP 5:
Receive your device
Your device is all setup and delivered to your nominated address ready to use. A follow up call from our Customer Care team will be made to ensure the device has been received and to answer any questions you may have.
