mCare Digital provides assistive technology products and services. Our operations are based in Australia, and our supply chain includes both local and international suppliers of hardware, software, and professional services. We expect all our suppliers, contractors, and business partners to share our commitment to preventing modern slavery and to always act lawfully and ethically.

Risk Assessment and Due Diligence

We recognise that certain sectors and geographies may present higher risks of modern slavery. To address these risks, mCare Digital:

• Conducts risk assessments of our operations and supply chain to identify areas where modern slavery risks may be present.
• Incorporates specific prohibitions against the use of forced, compulsory, or trafficked labour in our supplier contracts.

Training and Awareness

We are committed to raising awareness of modern slavery risks among our employees and suppliers. Training is provided to relevant staff to help them identify indicators of modern slavery and to understand the appropriate steps to take if concerns arise.

Reporting and Remediation

mCare Digital encourages all employees, suppliers, and stakeholders to report any concerns related to modern slavery. Reports can be made to a manager or through our designated reporting channels. Where modern slavery is identified or suspected, we will take prompt action, which may include working with the supplier to resolve the issue, terminating the relationship, and notifying the relevant authorities.

Continuous Improvement

We are committed to regularly reviewing and improving our policies, procedures, and practices to combat modern slavery. This includes assessing the effectiveness of our actions and updating our approach as needed to ensure ongoing compliance and ethical conduct.
