How long have you been using the mCareWatch personal alarm?
I have been using the mCareWatch personal alarm from 2018. I have multiple sclerosis, and I walk with a walker. I live by myself and the mCareWatch has given me a sense of security.
How has the mCareWatch improved your daily life?
Over the years I have had falls, and I have been able to activate the SOS button on the mCareWatch for help. The beauty of the mCareWatch is that it doesn’t just work in the home, but it also works outside of your house, in the wider community.
What made you choose mCare Digital over other providers?
They continue to innovate. The mCareWatch was updated last year to the MW241 model. I like the fact that this model has a Velcro watch band, and it makes it more secure on my wrist especially since I walk around with a walker.
Can you share a specific instance where the mCareWatch helped solve a problem or made a difference?
The mCareWatch has made a big difference, more so because the watch has a longer battery life and this is fantastic because I don’t have the charge it as often. It provides me with a great sense of independence and security especially as I live on my own.
What’s your favourite feature of your mCareWatch, and why?
My favourite feature on the mCareWatch is its appearance – it is fashionable, and I like the white with rose gold. Also, it isn’t bulky, and it is nice to wear.
Would you recommend mCare Digital to others? If so, what would you tell them?
I would recommend the mCareWatch to others especially this latest version as it gives you a sense of security. I like the fact also you can accessorise it with different colour watch bands and textures (magnetic mesh bands).
